The year 2022 has brought us many large vessels that are already cruising seas and oceans. We had the opportunity to witness the delivery of some huge yachts such as the 158 metre Lürssen Project Blue, the 146 metre Project Opera, also from Lürssen, and currently on sea trials, as well as the 118 metre Project 1010 from Feadship. It has definitively been a good year for superyacht builders!
But what about 2023? What will the year bring in terms of new superyacht deliveries?
Here we bring you some exciting news about the +100-metre yachts that we expect will be on the scene by this time next year.
Very few details have been released about this
gigayacht under construction. This
Lürssen gem, has a classic raked bow, a steel hull, and a high aluminum superstructure.
Sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in 2019, Project JAG is one of the largest superyachts currently under construction. The exteriors have been designed by Nuvolari Lenard, and the interior by Reymond Langton. It has been described as a “beautiful bespoke homage to the owner’s lifestyle”.
This new build is simply known as “hull 6507”. The vessel will be the largest launch from Abeking & Rasmussen once she hits the water. She will include a semi-submerged Neptune lounge and an expansive pool.

This
explorer type vessel by
Freire was a big mystery until now! Even if there isn’t much information confirmed yet, you can check how is the built going.
With an axe-style bow and the superstructure forward, this Lürssen
explorer yacht offers the possibility of
cruising oceans safely while carrying big cargo on the open aft deck. It has been announced that the boat is
diesel-electric powered.

Another low-key project joins this list of deliveries for the 2023, this time from the Dutch company Oceanco. Very few details are known about this project apart from the length. There isn’t even a public picture or a prototype to be found. Y1050 will be the 7th vessel over 100 metres built by Oceanco, joining other huge superyachts such as M/Y Infinity (117m), M/Y Kaos (110m) and M/Y Bravo Eugenia (109m).
