It has been a long year full of new things, work, emotions, and... you.
Christmas is that special moment of the year for everyone, also for the EVOTeam. Some people, travel back home to visit their friends and families, some others prefer an exotic destination to spend the festive days away from the hustle and bustle and get some peace. We have some Christmas market enthusiasts, who take advantage of any small opportunity to get some new decorations, hot wine, and a new cup to take home.
We have the traditional ones, who spend the festivities in the same way, every year, and the ones that wait until the very last minute to decide what to do. We do of course, also have a Grinch or two, who would like to disappear during the whole festivities, but anyway are present, and smile, for the sake of others happiness.
Operations Team
Xisco spent the 24th, 25th, and 26th with his family. Those days are the key dates of Christmas for him, and he follows the tradition to spend those days with his loved ones, cooking, eating, drinking, and singing Christmas carols. On the 27th, he traveled to Menorca to celebrate the remaining festivities with his husband and his in-laws. On the 31st, they went out to eat at a restaurant with some friends.
The night of the 31st is always reserved for just the two of them and their little dog, Xito, where they enjoy a quiet evening with some cheese, foie gras, and wine by the fireplace, dressed in their finest pajamas.
Marketing Team
Ainara loves Christmas markets and always takes any opportunity to visit them. This year, she visited the Christmas market of Hamburg with her boyfriend and got in the festive spirit by celebrating the achievements of the year with some hot chocolate with cream, and a big piece of raclette while enjoying the cold weather. She spent the Christmas days in her hometown in the Basque Country split between her family and her in-laws. On the 25th, her family received many presents from the "Olentzero" , and on the 31st she celebrated the end of the year with her in-laws drinking "Alvariño" wine and coffee liquor, eating delicious food and having the traditional 12 grapes with the bell tolls before the new year. This year she couldn't go skiing, but there are ample skiing opportunities ahead in 2024!

also had the opportunity to visit some
Christmas markets, in his case, in
Vienna. There, he had the chance to
celebrate these holidays, where
"Glühwein", "Käsepretzel"
and Christmas decorations took centre stage. He celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his family, where
Papá Noel
visited his children, and they received
many presents
surrounded by their
closest relatives.
Joyca cherished the warmth of Christmas with her family in the heart of Brussels. The enchanting city transformed into a winter wonderland during the holidays, adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations. Brussels, renowned for its picturesque Grand Place, came alive with a magical atmosphere that blended tradition and modernity. The iconic Christmas market offered a delightful array of seasonal treats, from steaming cups of mulled wine to delectable Belgian chocolates.

Daniela immersed herself in the Christmas festivities while in France. She whisked her children away to the enchanting South of France for a delightful skiing experience amidst the pristine snow. The family also enjoyed a visit to a captivating animal park, creating lasting memories filled with joy and laughter. Adding to the holiday cheer, they explored a charming Christmas market, further elevating their Christmas spirit.
As the year drew to a close, Daniela and her family returned to Barcelona. There, they embraced the warmth of familiarity during a cozy night spent playing Monopoly, wrapping up the year with cherished moments together.

Kananda holds a deep affection for New York, a sentiment that was beautifully amplified during her Christmas holiday in the city. From her adolescent years in the city for dance lessons, she harboured a desire to share the enchantment of this magical place with her teenage daughter during the festive season. Nestled in the cozy confines of relatives' homes, they immersed themselves in a Christmas movie-like experience in the city that never sleeps. The ice-skating rinks glistened under the winter sky, adorned with festive decorations and a blanket of snow, creating an ambiance of pure Christmas magic. The duo returned to Spain just before Christmas Eve, eager to continue the celebrations with Kananda's husband and family. In a delightful blend of Brazilian and Catalan cultures, they embraced the unique fusion of traditions, creating a festive atmosphere that echoed the warmth and joy of the holiday season.
